Requiem Duet, Concerto for Flute and Voodoo now out in Daily Science Fiction

Hurray! My short story, “Requiem Duet, Concerto for Flute and Voodoo,” was published by Daily Science Fiction today. Subscribe to this excellent publication, read, and comment at their FB page!

Slowly coming back to life after Dragon*Con. Had eyeball-deep chaos, had mega stress, had hella good time. Longer post later. Maybe. Still shambling back to life. (Don’t know why, but it seems that I always have something come out while I’m immersed in—or in this case, recovering from—Dragon*Con.)

  2. Eugie Foster says:

Aw, thank you! I’m delighted you enjoyed it :).

  3. Pleasure! Nina’s story was great too – an excellent week for DSF.

  4. Melissa Mead says:

That was one of my favorite DSF stories so far.

  5. Doug Featherstone says:

My wifes name is Takahashi and we thought “takastone” sounded better than “featherhashi”.
You obviously need no hand claps from me, and yet I offer them. Your story,Requiem Duet, Concerto for Flute and Voodoo, was absolutely the strongest ( that means best ) I’ve read at DSF, though I’ve enjoyed, and hope to continue, my association with them. I’ve been a subscriber to Analog, Azimov’s, and Fantasy and Science Fiction for…….oh 20 and 30 years, off and on…..and it appears that those are the only places you haven’t been published. Theirs, and my, loss. Now I’ve found you and will have to search around.
    Thank you.
