Session ’07 Day 18

Spent most of yesterday trying to get caught up on Tangent work. There is no such thing as “caught up.”

There’s an irony that the midpoint of session, Day 20, is slated to fall on Valentine’s Day this year.

So on Valentine’s Day, you’ll be halfway through Session? That’s awesome!!

You know…”Session” sounds like some sort of SF torture chamber, don’t you think? How does Session compare with electrocution and mind zapping? Roughly comparable? 😉

    Hang in there!

Thanks, sweetie. And yah, you’d think there’d be a BDSM component to “Session.” *snerk* But so far, I haven’t seen dungeon-y accoutrements. Maybe they save those for the second half.

How does Session compare with electrocution and mind zapping?

      Well, there’s definitely a mind-turning-to-slag overlap . . .

If they adjurn until the Peachcare funding situation gets worked out, will you get a break as well or will people still be funneling bills into the process? I hope it’s not 6 months this year until Sine Die.

    • Eugie Foster says:

That’s the 1 million dollar (or would that be $50 million?) question over here. There’s been some speculation whether and for how long they’d adjourn to go over the PeachCare for Kids funding problem and whether that would extend session into April.

By all estimates, if session is prolonged because of the PeachCare thing, it’ll merely drag out the session. We don’t get a break or anything, we just get more gruelling hours for longer. Meep.

Hi, Eugie…this is unrelated to your post, but I thought you and Hobkin would get a kick out of this skunk being raised with kittens:

It made me want my very own skunk! They are so adorable.
