The Android 2.1 software development kit was released the other day, and I am geeky enough to be all a-squee about it. Trying to talk myself out of manually loading it on my Droid and waiting for the O/S upgrade push like a good girl.

I’ve been pondering what kind of crazy stuff I’d program on my phone if I had the tools, but my ideas are too big! I can barely find time to upload family pictures to facebook, much less write software for my phone! It’s tempting, though… 🙂
That’s where I am too. Got this itch to code some of my own apps, but I know I simply won’t have time for anything like that until Georgia’s legislative session adjourns. And considering how many new apps have been going up at Android Market since the Droid came out, by then, odds are someone else will have created an app that does what I want.
