My mom and step-dad are visiting us from China this weekend. A mad flurry of cleaning has ensued. I thought it wasn’t possible, but we do indeed have too many books. I’ve started stowing them under the couch and randomly shoving them into drawers.
We need to look into acquiring more shelving and bookcases. Desperately.

George and I have recently begun renting a storage unit, because our possessions finally overflowed our living space. It’s not an optimal long-term solution, but we’ve found it quite convenient.
I bought a bunch of those ‘under bed storage’ boxes (rubbermaid, I think)…Too many bookshelves already!
I fondly remember you writing about your Mom poking at Hobkin, and Hobkin being inexplicably easygoing about it. It still makes me smile.
