Is it the watching in general you try to avoid? Or the watching with Matthew?
Imagine unpublished slush-pile manuscripts produced as short films with no budgets and amateurish audio, video, and FX to go with the egregiously bad writing.
I don’t mind seeing the second rounders, but the raw slush…it hurtses us, it does.
Urk. Add in some fan-fic, and I believe you’ve just described the circle of Hell reserved for sinning writers.
I’ll see if I can’t order you some brain bleach and mental floss.
*sobs* The D*C Film Festival also accepts fan film submissions. Could you include a wire bristle brush to go with that brain bleach?
My guess is morbid curiosity.
