Watched both Return of the Jedi and Phantom Menace yesterday. Probably going to round out the week with Attack of the Clones. Shiny. Yup.
Writing Stuff:
My “Sub-Genre Spotlight: Cyberpunk” article is due to go up next Monday at IROSF (assuming they follow their new publication schedule of “last Monday of the month”), but I have yet to receive edits to approve. Or a contract for that matter. Wonder if I should I be concerned?
Did two editorial passes–one for the fantasy piece and one for the slipstream piece.

I wish I could share your enthusiasm about the Star Wars franchise, but George Lucas’ dialogue just makes me squirm and spasm on the floor. Rugburn. Ouch. Plus, the last two movies seem like kiddie films to me.
I’m definitely not going to see the last movie in the series, at least not voluntarily.
Oh, I totally agree that there’re major shortcomings in script, acting, and directing with the Star Wars movies, but I’m still blown away by the sheer beauty of them. Sure would be nice if Lucas would hire a good director and get a decent script for the last movie, though.

Haven’t had a chance to pop out to B&N yet. Maybe this weekend . . . during the massive shopping crush. Um.
I’m thinking it shouldn’t be hard to find. The publisher is Holiday House, a major player in the children’s book biz, and being an ALA award winner, that should have boosted sales and visibility in major outlets like B&N.
