Fie on Comcast!

Comcast continues to earn my eternal ire. I feel so cut off from the world without my Internet. I know it’s a trite sentiment, but I honestly can’t figure out how I got by without it. It’s a social outlet, news and information source, networking tool, and business resource. I needs my Internet connection! Evil Comcast for addicting me to high speed access and then depriving me of it. Stabbity stabbity stab!

Must post this while I’m still hooked into the Internet . . .

Received an email from Andy Cox in response to my query: he’s still thinking about my story. Give him another day or so. Okeey . . .

On the heroic fantasy piece. I think I have a direction for it. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t the one I originally had, but it’s where I’m going now, dammit.

comcast is SO shitty. we had constant problems with connectivity (BAD when i’m logged in and monitoring at work!!!) and found out they hadn’t added the modem THEY GAVE US to their network so it was “rogue”. Only took them 9 months to figure out.

    They suck.

      Bastards!

We called Comcast to bitch and they informed us our cable had been disconnected. “WTF? Why??” we demanded, since we’re definitely up-to-date with our payments. Their answer: “Uhh, no reason they know of.” Thankfully, they miraculously re-hooked us up after our call, but service has still been spotty. GARGHH!!!

I would so have switched to another provider by now, but they’re the only broadband player in our area. Feh.

:shivers: Nasty Comcastses! They should be hung, drawn, and quartered. (My little sister will be pleased to give you a graphic description of said process, whether or not you want her to, if you use that phrase around her. I really don’t know where she gets this stuff…)

Fourteen and a half months?! I don’t know who to be more angry at, Comcast or Mr. Cox. Comcast, I suppose…but, still! :shivers again:
