I feel like crap

Well, this day has sucked. Nothing major, nothing dire. Just a bunch of little things, all work related. From system problems, waiting for an essential project person to call me who never did, to being asked to do something really tedious while I wait for him to get back to me, everything’s just piled up and left me feeling crappy.

Grr.

And now I really don’t feel like going to dance class. More than anything in the world, I just want to go home and squeeze husband and skunk. I know that once I got to my class, I’d probably enjoy it. And I know I need the exercise. But I’m going to give in to my inner crapitude and skip out on it in liu of hubby and Hobkin huggins.

Again.

Sigh. It’s the season premiere of Buffy:tVS tonight. Hurray?

Okay, you’re violating the by-laws again.

It says right here, Section 12, Paragraph 2, Subsection 27-B:

"Eugie is never permitted to have a bad day, ever."

It’s right under the section proclaiming that George also can’t have a bad day.

Come to think of it, she doesn’t follow the rules all the time either. I swear, the two of you…

    Hope things get better. 🙂

Oh, dear. I hope there isn’t a fine. Or, *gasp*, jail time. I better get cracking on that feeling better thing. Eep.

But seriously, I do feel better now that I’m home, away from my desk, and away from work stressors. That whole husband/skunk hugging did wonders for my mindset.

      Thanks, Mousie-fangs

    hm.

Smile. Force yourself to. I know that sounds lame, but it helps. Really.

Dance class is the best thing for you right now – destressor. You will be happy you went.

    FEEL BETTER EUGIE! <3

    Use the Force, Luke!

You’ve been under a lot of pressure lately. If what you want more than anything in the world is to spend time with your husband and your Hobkin, that’s all good. It’s not as if:

“What I want to do more than anything in the world is load all the guns and find a well-sited clock tower.” You’re a hard worker–don’t feel guilty about enjoying a little bit of downtime.

      Re: Use the Force, Luke!

Thanks, Stephen. I do feel better now that I’m home and have indulged in some non-clock-tower-gone-postal therapy. That is, as long as I don’t think about going back to work tomorrow. Argh.

I went and looked at your Hobkin picture gallery/baby album/whatever, and I just have to point out that that skunk is obscenely adorable. I really like the picture with the remote control. I want a skunk!!!
