Sweet! Norm is an absolute delight to work with. I’ve loved what he’s done with my stuff in the past, and it sounds like he’s pulling out all the stops to do “The End of the Universe” as an audio drama. I’m really excited and greatly looking forward to hearing it.

Yes, he is! I asked The Drabblecast to stand in for me at Dragon Con. I’m a Parsec finalist in novella, and I can’t attend (and I think they should have been finalists in audio magazine).
Also…if you ever want to make Norm really happy, he’s tried to get in to perform at Dragon Con for 3 years in a row. He writes and sings hilarious Coulton-style songs. I don’t know whether you still have anything to do with Dragon Con, and I don’t know how they decide who gets to perform, but he’s awfully entertaining.
Yep, I’m still a director for Dragon*Con, but my area is the Daily Dragon. I don’t have anything to do with the guest/band selection committee(s), I’m afraid. But I do know some folks he can contact who may be able to influence the committee’s decision next year. If you wanna drop Norm a line to have him email me about it, or I’ll try to remember to bring it up the next time I’m corresponding with him, I can point him at the relevant parties.

Thanks again for cool stories. I remember another one of yours from a few years ago…it was about a girl who gets kidnapped and is saved by the ghost of her ferret and some other animals. I loved that one. 🙂
Awesome story! I’ve long been fascinated by the idea of masks and identity. I’ve even written some bad poetry about it.

Not wrong at all. I was definitely thinking “hive,” although I’d say that “ant” influenced my worldbuilding as much as “bee.”
I am both fascinated and repulsed by bees in general, so I am perhaps quicker to jump to that particular entomological conclusion. (Also, “honey” tends to bring bees to mind regardless. As opposed to chutney, which is made by earwigs, or spider-made gravy.)
