Went to see The Incredibles yesterday, but the theater was swamped with screaming children, not to mention sold out of the time we wanted. We decided to postpone our movie outing until today. Hope it’ll be a little less crazy.

Got the check for “The Storyteller’s Wife” and “Returning My Sister’s Face” from Realms of Fantasy yesterday. $$$! Still seems probable that both will be in the Feb’ 05 issue.
All seven of my backlogged Tangent reviews have finally been published. My editor was very apologetic for the delay.
Today: editing.
I got accepted in June, and no publication date yet…but I got the check at least.

Great shots of his tail…what a handsome guy. His fur seems to have a sheen to it…is that true-to-life or just thepic?
Thanks! And the sheen is true to life. My Hobkin’s got a wonderful coat, gleaming white and warm, glossy chocolate brown. Soft too!
so did you ever see The Incredibles? We did today, and it was AWESOME! I want to go again; just to pay attention to the story. I was so captivated by the animation:)

This was the first time I’ve had a paycheck from Realms so I don’t have a comparison on their promptness, but overall, on the contrary, their payment time was unusually short! Most places pay on publication. RoF pays on acceptance (which translates to “pays about 60 days after they receive the signed contract back”).
