Scooby Doo 2

Watched Scooby Doo 2 last night. That’s nearly two hours of my life I won’t be getting back. I went in with low expectations, and they were set too high. Blah.

Not as bad as what I’m watching now: “My Uncle: The Alien”
…just take my word for it… please.
I mean, I like bad movies, as Matthew can tell you, but this is just…wretched. Yes, I think that will do. Wretched.

But don’t you and revel in really terrible movies? They tend to just make my brain blow raspberries in my skull.

Well…yes would be the short answer. But the bad movies that we enjoy also have a sort of…well…lyrical quality. Plus, they would also be be the kind of Bad Movie covered by Joel/Mike and the Bots….
This last movie, and a lot of movies my mom watches, are just bad. I mean, gun-to-your-head-watch-this-movie-or-drink-your-own-vomit-and-you-have-to-sit-and-think-about-it bad.
Let’s put it this way: given “Murder, She Wrote” and this movie we watched…(never mind the one that had a dog and a dolphin that could talk, and were trying to save the environment with some cute kids that were also trying to get their Mom married and did I mention the male lead was Steve Guttenberg?) I’ll take Ms. Lansbury. Oh, and my Mom’s favorite TV Channel?
        ShopNBC.
        For hours at a time…
        ghrrphh…
