Session ’07, Day 33

I haven’t seen fosteronfilm and dude_the at all this week. They went to an advance screening of a movie last night, leaving me to come home to, once again, a humanless house. *humph* Fine. Me and the skunk don’t need that pair of slackers anyway.

I’ve got a photo shoot tomorrow for the Girls of Dragon*Con Charity Calendar project at one of Atlanta’s cemeteries. I think I’m going to have to drag both of them along.

Writing Stuff

Received:
– Payment from Helix for “Addy in My Mind.” Not pro rates, but the amount exceeded my expectations. Very nice.
– 1-day sale of “The Center of the Universe” to Helix. Publication date/issue TBD. This is the story that was orphaned when the Lesbian Sleuth anthology folded, so I’m well pleased that it was able to find a new home.

Very cool about Helix love. I’ve wanted to sell them for a while.

Oakland Cemetery? I was thinking of heading down there with my camera today, before the rain knocks off all the flowers from the trees.

    • Eugie Foster says:

Yep, that’s the one. I’ve never been there before, but I hear it’s pretty. Looks like it’s going to be a questionable lighting day, but hey, what do I know about lighting? We’re supposed to be assembling there at around noonish, but since I’m towing along two folks and we’re driving in from Alpharetta, I expect we’ll be late. (Also, last time, we were on time and ended up just hanging for a good 45 minutes or so, waiting for the others, so I’m not that worried about being on time.) The Intraweb tells me that Oakland Cemetery is the third largest green space in Atlanta, and the plans are to “meet there” so I’m not sure where we’ll be, but if you do head out there with your camera and see me, swing on by, yo!

Awwwww!!! Poor wonewey Eugie!! :huggles: But you have the fey to keep you company, and Hobkin of course, which might be the same thing or it might not…there’s an interesting speculation for you. 🙂 And session can’t last forever! Can it?

    • Eugie Foster says:

I’m pretty sure Hobkin’s a wee fey beastie. He gives every indication of having an affinity with mischievous magical creatures who can be bratty and temperamental if they don’t get their way, but sweet and loving if they like you!

  4. Congrats on the sales.
