Apex Digest editor Jason Sizemore dropped me a line letting me know my featured writer interview and story got “blinked” by Locus Online. To my knowledge, it’s my first blink. Locus deems me blink-worthy!
Received:
10-day form nyet from Farthing.
Not Received:
The contract from Paradox for “The Archer of the Sun and the Lady of the Moon.” Huh. I thought the editor was going to send it out last week. Meep?
Okay, I’ll bite. What is “getting blinked”?
It’s the little column on the left side of the front page which lists snippets of news deemed “newsworthy.”
oh, hey, that’s cool! Congrats!
Cool on blinking phenomenon. Guess that means they noticed you? Like I said, it was a good interview, showed you in your best “public” mode, word-sparring one-on-one.
And I got blinked by default. Whee!!!
Congrats on your blink. I got mentioned on there for something or other I had written, I think it was my interview with Rob Sawyer for IROSF, but that’s not quite the same thing.
Congrats on the “Blink”. You deserve every ounce of recognition this world can possibly give.
